I am a board-certified cardiologist who is a strong believer in research. While at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in the MD/PhD program, I researched the pharmacology, molecular mechanisms, and genetics of heart failure. My interest in the pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease resulted in multiple, peer-reviewed publications and awards. While I’ve enjoyed my research, I’ve decided that caring for patients is more important to me.
As a clinical cardiologist, I strive to educate my patients about their health. I know that when patients are provided with clear communication and information, they make the most informed decisions about their own medical care.
