Doylestown Health remains committed to bringing quality education to the community. Join Doylestown Health certified health education specialists and nutritionists, local mental health professionals, and other select local professionals as they present important subject matter.

Doylestown Health is pleased to offer both in-person and virtual classes and events. We also offer an outdoor, socially distanced, low-impact exercise, and health education activity called Walk with a Doc. Registration is required.

Virtual Learning Made Easy

Follow these easy steps to pre-register for a virtual class:

  1. Click on the links below to register for the virtual educational webinars.
  2. You will receive an email in advance of the class start time containing a link to follow on the day of the scheduled virtual class.
  3. Mark your calendar!
  4. At the time of your scheduled virtual class(es), using a smartphone, tablet, or computer, locate the confirmation email and click the "Join Virtual" link OR "Click Here to Join" link. Please note, some virtual events may require a password to join – this can be found in the registration confirmation email.

Pre/Postpartum Pelvic Floor — What to Know

Wednesday, June 8, 2022 – 5 to 6 pm

Juggling life as a mother-to-be or a new mom is complicated. Learning how to do life with a new baby, little sleep, and adapting to multiple changes in your body is hard. In addition, you may have been diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD), a common condition pre- and post-birth, which has been spotlighted in the media the past few years as research unfolds about how important a strong pelvic floor is for maternal health. Join Dr. Alex Soriano, MD, and Jenna Boyes, PT, DPT, of Doylestown Health to learn about signs/symptoms of PFD as well as resources for pre- or post-birth to get you back in tip-top shape.

Walk with a Doc

MitraCliptm: An Advancement in Cardiology

MitraClip is a catheter-based technique that repairs the mitral valve and structures of the heart so it can function efficiently. Doylestown Health Interventional Cardiologist, James W. Hansen, DO, will discuss this less-invasive option as well as who would be a good fit for a life-saving procedure like this. Registration is required and there is limited capacity. In an effort to memorably conclude Doylestown Health’s 5th Annual Mental Health Series, Unite With Might: Mental Health Community Conversations, we invite you and your friends/family to join us for a morning dedicated to continue the much-needed conversations surrounding mental health and substance use disorders. Please dress comfortably as this event is outdoors and contains light physical activity.
