Guided Exercise Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)
Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) is a common circulatory problem in which narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the limbs. This reduction in blood flow commonly causes pain in the legs.
The most effective non-invasive therapy for improving symptoms of PAD is exercise and lifestyle changes. Studies have shown that supervised exercise has better outcomes than home therapy. The goal of our guided exercise therapy program for PAD is to help you improve your fitness and manage your PAD symptoms through exercise and education.
Our PAD Exercise Therapy Program includes:
- 8 to 12 weeks of therapy; up to 36 sessions
- 3 to 5 sessions per week
